Here’s all you should know about the leading ladies of Flawsome.

Bisola Aiyeola as Ifeyinwa

Bisola, who plays Ifeyinwa, is a Nigerian actress and singer. She first appeared on screen in a singing competition, MTN Project Fame West Africa, and later in Big Brother Naija in 2017, where she emerged as the first runner-up.

Since her first television appearance, she has appeared in several Nollywood movies, and in 2018, she won the Trailblazer Award at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards ( AMVCA).

Speaking about the series, she shared that ‘Flawsome showed the meaning and importance of true sisterhood’ and why women need to be ‘physically and emotionally supportive towards each other.’ For her, the friendship among the four leading ladies of the series depicts ‘how friendship should be practised in real life.

Sharon Ooja as Ivie

Sharon Ooja started her acting career in 2013 and came into the limelight with her role as ‘Shalewa’ in the web series Skinny Girl In Transit. Since she debuted, Sharon has appeared in several movies and was listed by Netng as one of the top Nollywood actresses to look out for in 2021.

Sharon stars as Ivie, a fashion designer who left medicine and surgery to pursue her dreams in the big city. She is a dreamer who believes in fairy tales about big cities until reality hits her hard in the face.

Speaking about her role, she said, ‘Ivie’s biggest moment was when she realised she could achieve her dreams and more without anyone’s validation and a toxic relationship. By then, her insecurity no longer had a chokehold on her.’

Ini Dima-Okojie as Ramat

After two years as an investment banker, Ini Dima-Okojie quit her job and decided to pursue her love for acting and an entertainment career. She attended the New York Film Academy.

Coming back to Nigeria, she made her first on-screen appearance in the telenovela, Taste of Love, and has been featured in many films, including the Africa Magic series Battleground. She has been nominated for several awards, including The Future Africa Awards in 2017.

In Flawsome, Ini plays Ramat, and she shares her first reaction to the series after reading the script. She said:

‘Honestly, I called the creator, Tola, and just wanted to talk about my character for hours. Flawsome is different. I love that the series portrays women differently because many shows here are about women who want to get married or are 30 and unmarried.’

Helen Enado Odigie as Dolapo

Known for her roles in the Men’s Club, Unmarried, From Lagos with Love, and Hide ‘N’ Seek, Helen started acting professionally in 2012. She got a significant role in the Africa Magic Original movie Spice. She has been nominated for many awards, including the AMVCA for best-supporting actress.

When asked about the most challenging and memorable thing about her character, Dolapo, she shared, ‘It was a lot of work playing Dolapo as she seems to have an air of arrogance but beneath that is a loyal person.’
