The viewing of the rings
Somizi and Mohale made their way to the Nungu Diamonds offices to view a couple of ring designs that would spark the inspiration behind their own wedding bands.
The couple was also shown several large and of course very expensive diamonds – one of the diamonds Somizi held with his own bare hands was estimated to cost over R2.9 million rand!
Nungu Diamonds took their service a step further by also offering to loan Somizi a bracelet to wear. But, being the over the top person he is, Somizi jokingly mentioned that he wanted the most dazzling and most expensive diamond necklace they could find. Preferably one that cost somewhere between six and 10 million dollars. Mohale wasn’t too convinced about that exorbitant request.
Find out more about the inspiration behind their incredible wedding rings in our interview with the couple behind Nungu Diamonds.
The fitting of the white wedding outfits
Both their outfits were specially designed by Gert-Johan Coetzee, and we follow Somizi to his appointment with the designer. Although we did not get to see Somizi’s full ensemble, he did share that his outfit’s train would be carried by a group of ballerinas – how fancy!
The couple decided to do their fittings separately as they wanted to surprise each other once they met at the altar on the day of the white wedding.
Somizi’s bachelor party
The party was a surprise for Somizi by his close celebrity friends including Moshe Ndiki, Thami Dish and Vusi Nova.
Drinks were flowing, music was blasting and, of course, the strippers were grinding on everyone and anyone. However, it was Moshe’s hilarious speech to Somizi that was the highlight of the night.
