Are you a Showmax Super Fan? Then you may have been a special promo just for you. Here are the terms and conditions you need to be aware of.

Introduction  

1. The terms and conditions below apply to the “Super Fan Promo Promotion” (hereinafter referred to as “Super Fan Promo”). 

2. These Super Fan Promo terms (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) are supplementary to the Showmax terms and conditions – Global, and apply to use of the Showmax Service by eligible/qualifying customers for the duration of the promotion period being 12 December 2022 to 12 June 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the “Promo Period”). 

3. Please read these Terms carefully. 

General Information 

1. The Super Fan Promo applies in South Africa, Lesotho, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Botswana, Tanzania, Zambia and Namibia, and ROA (excluding the diaspora territories). The Super Fan Promo is a limited offer which applies within the Promo Period, which is associated with a special discount on the Showmax Service Subscription (Showmax, Showmax Mobile, Showmax Pro and Showmax Pro Mobile), of up to 40% discount, for a period of up to 6 months per customer from date of redemption.  

2. The 14-day free trial is not applicable to this Super Fan Promo. 

3. During the Promo Period 12 December 2022 to 12 June 2023, eligible prospective and existing customers can enjoy a 40% discount of the Showmax Service  

4. During the Promo Period, eligible customers can enjoy a discount on their Showmax Service Subscription as outlined below. 

Super Fan Promo Offer Eligibility 

To qualify for the Super Fan Promo customers must meet the following requirements: 

1. Existing Showmax Service customers (prepaid or/and recurring) who have been selected by Showmax and have received correspondence from Showmax offering them the promotion. It must be noted that the offer is non transferrable, it is only redeemable by the original customer.  

2. Such existing Showmax selected customers are required to save/add and use a recurring a payment instrument on their Showmax Service account within the Promo Period on a recurring billing basis; and pay for the Showmax Service in accordance with these terms and conditions of the Super Fan Promo. 

3. On accepting the offer, the 40% discount will be applied to the customer’s Showmax Service account in the following month’s bill, for a period of up to 6 months. It must be noted that the 40% discount will be applied to the relevant Showmax service pricing, as amended from time to time.  

4. It must be noted that the payment instrument entered by the customer when taking up or accepting this offer will need to be used throughout the Promo Period; if changed to another payment instrument by the customer within the Promo Period, such customer will forfeit the discount and will be billed the normal retail price for the Showmax Service. 

5. In the instance the customer’s payment instrument expires or has insufficient funds, the customer will receive digital correspondence with a specific link therein, which allows the customer to update/change their payment instrument details in their Showmax Service account and thereafter have access to the offer again, subject to these Terms. 

6. Eligible customers are required to be resident and take-up the offer in either of the following participating countries: South Africa, Lesotho, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Botswana, Tanzania, Zambia and Namibia, and ROA (excluding the diaspora territories). 

Super Fan Promo customer ineligibility 

1. Customers who did not receive the offer directly from Showmax. 

2. Customers are not permitted to simultaneously enjoy the benefits of both the Super Fan Promo and the Mastercard Loyalty Campaign.  

3. The Super Fan Promo is offered for a maximum of 1 offer.  

Pricing  

1. The price discount calculation is rounded up to whole numbers, always to the benefit of a customer. 

Miscellaneous 

1. Showmax reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to determine whether you are eligible for the Super Fan Promo. 

2. Unless otherwise stated, the Showmax terms and conditions – Global shall remain in full force and effect. 

3. In case of a discrepancy between these terms and Showmax terms and conditions – Global, the provisions of these terms will prevail. 

4. Unless otherwise extended, this version of Showmax service terms and conditions applies for the Promo Period. 

5. Showmax reserves the right at any time and for any reason to terminate the Super Fan Promo. 

6. This version of the Super Fan Promo Terms applies from 12 December 2022 to 12 June 2023 which will be specified as and when this promotion becomes available therein, unless the Promo Period is extended.
