The Real Housewives of Durban Season 2 episode 7 recap: Jojo, Nonku and the private jet
Just when we thought the The Real Housewives of Durban had it all, it turns out there are levels to this lifestyle. We got to experience just how hectic the levels are on The Real Housewives of Durban Season 2 episode 7. Londie planned a getaway for the ladies, and everyone was excited. However, things turned sour on the first day, all because of a private jet! In case you’re wondering what the big deal is, let us fill you in.
Jet setters
Sorisha, Thobile, Annie and Jojo flew via private jet to the lodge that Londie had booked, thanks to Sorisha’s husband, while LaConco, Mabusi and Nonku were driven there. Sorisha and her crew obviously got there first, meanwhile the others were stuck on the road for several hours after their transport broke down.
As you can imagine, by the time they got to the lodge they were exhausted. Adding more salt to the wound, Londie told them that they’d have to sleep at another venue, about 45 minutes away from where they were.
Second-hand rejects
“I feel disrespected… I don’t know, by the whole thing. I’m angry. I’m not okay. Why don’t we have first preference of sleeping here? We’re tired. We spent five hours on the road,” Nonku told Mabusi and LaConco.
“Londie and her team really did us bad because the ones who arrived early were supposed to go sleep 45 minutes away because they had time, then come back when we are about to arrive,” LaConco added to the heated discussion. Mabusi then shocked the ladies when she mentioned that their fellow cast mates arrived in a private jet. That was not something they wanted to hear, especially after their bad experience on the road. “I feel like a reject, a second-hand reject,” Nonku shared.
Jojo stands up for Sorisha
Well, at least they were invited to the “sexy sleeper pajama party” and for a short while, it seems like things were going smoothly. The conversation was flowing, and the wives were laughing and enjoying each other’s company. But that obviously didn’t last. LaConco brought up the private jet issue. Sorisha asked: “Is no one allowed to land?”
Nonku carried on from there as if she had been waiting for that moment.
“I’m just going to put it out there. I’m the one that obviously always speaks everything because I have no filter.” She said she was very upset earlier, adding that she was glad that she got a chance to speak about it after she had calmed down. “What I’m getting at is that courtesy. Courtesy would be to say, ‘okay, ladies. I’m going in a private jet or whatever. Unfortunately, it takes so many people so we can’t take everybody’.”
Just before you start getting ideas, Nonku made it clear that she wasn’t jealous. Jojo stepped in and told Nonku: “It sounds like you’re jealous. Stop going off at her [Sorisha] because her husband paid for a private jet, and you didn’t get invited. It’s not her problem.” We don’t know about you, but we sense some ‘you can’t sit with us’ vibes here. Hectic!
Will Nonku and Jojo ever get along?
