The River: Lindiwe brings Dambisa down
How entertaining has Dambisa been lately? As troublesome as she is, Double D has had us in stitches since she made her comeback. But sadly, her time is up!
For a while it looked like her plan was working and she actually believed that she had gotten away with scamming Andile. Dambisa became so arrogant that she even started ordering Flora around and threatening her. She even called her ugly. The nerve!
However, she clearly not aware of the fact that Flora is loyal to one woman only: Lindiwe. Sis’ Flo spilled all of Dambisa’s secrets to Lindiwe and that, of course, was the beginning of the end for Double D.
Lindiwe’s brilliant plan
Lindiwe, who’s always quick on her feet, came up with a plan to bring her sister-in-law down. She called Dambisa’s cousin from the Eastern Cape and brought her to Pretoria. Mrs Dikana and her nephew, Zolani, took the cousin to a restaurant where they wined and dined her. It was evident that her plan was to get Qaqamba to come clean about what Dambisa did with the money. And she got exactly what she wanted because Qaqamba told them everything about the missing Dikana money.
They then went back to the Dikana mansion, where the rest of the Dikana family – including relatives from the Eastern Cape – was having a feast to celebrate.
Zweli throws Dambisa out of his house
Dambisa started giving them envelopes that were supposed to have money in them, but to her surprise, there was nothing. It turns out Lindiwe was ten steps ahead of her again. Shocked family members started shouting and screaming at her and demanded their money. Caught off-guard, Dambisa didn’t know what to do.
While she was trying to find answers, Qaqamba stood up and confessed to the whole family. She told them what really happened: Dambisa spent the money. Zweli was so upset that he told his sister to get out of his house.
Honestly, we don’t know how Dambisa thought she would get away with such a big scam. After all this time, she should know what Lindiwe is capable of. Where will Dambisa go from here? Stream new episodes of The River every week to find out.
