4. Disney’s Doc McStuffins, S3

The Doc is in! Six-year-old Doc McStuffins uses her magical stethoscope to make her toys come alive in the clinic in her back garden. She fixes their wounds and dries their tears, using a comforting blend of common sense and toy First Aid. Her mom’s a doctor and her dad’s a stay-at-home father, making this is a refreshingly progressive series that reinforces plenty of positive messages. The songs are super-catchy, too. Watch now »
5. Sabrina the Teenage Witch, S1-4

Sabrina Spellman is a powerful magician, but can’t tell anyone. To her friends, she is just a normal teenager: they don’t know that she uses her magic to help them.
