Cut-Out Girls (2019)
A 2020 SAFTA-nominee for Best Editing, Cut-Out Girls is the story of how six young women’s lives are impacted by the actions of two aspiring sportsmen.
It’s the debut film from SAFTA-nominated actress Nicola Hanekom (Faan se Trein, Hard Copy), based on her award-winning stage play about date rape and rape culture.
Filmed in Cape Town, Cut-Out Girls’ cast includes Joel Rosenblatt, Ashleigh Van Der Hoven, Cody Mountain, Atlanta Johnson and SAFTA- and Fleur du Cap nominee Grant Swanby (Beyond the River), who also produced.
