Date My Family S1-12
The hit reality show Date My Family is now in its 12th season on SA screens (with spin-offs in Zambia, Botswana, Uganda, Nigeria, Kenya and Mozambique!) and still helping singletons find love by sending them on dates with their potential partner’s family.
Each episode sees a bachelor/bachelorette embark on a quest for love by going on three dinner dates with the families and friends of potential partners at their homes. The bachelor or bachelorette then chooses who they will date based on which family impresses them the most, while the three potential partners are kept out of sight, watching all the action unfold on-screen in another room.
Exciting new tweaks to the format this season include the introduction of a Driver Bae, who’ll keep the conversation lively as he drives the bachelor/bachelorette to and from their dates, and a Lifeline call that will give potential dates one brief chance to communicate with the families ahead of their date night.
