Elvis Goes There
In this travel/talk show hosted by journalist Elvis Mitchell, explore London with Emmy-nominated director Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, The Office), and delve into what makes Paris one of the most artistically influential cities on earth with Oscar-winning writer-director Sofia Coppola (Lost in Translation).
Another Oscar winner, Guillermo del Toro (The Shape of Water, Pan’s Labyrinth), takes us to Los Angeles, where Elvis also meets up with the legendary Laurence Fishburne, Iranian-American film director and Sundance award nominee Ana Lily Amirpour (A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night), and the unsung heroes who bring film creatures to life.
In Oakland, California, Saturn- and Black Reel Award-winning director Ryan Coogler (Black Panther, Creed, Fruitvale Station) shows us around his hometown, while Hamilton star Daveed Diggs (also in Blindspotting, coming to Showmax later in October 2020) and hip hop artist, producer and activist Boots Riley share the influence the East Bay has had on their work.
