Federer’s Laver Cup Swan Song (2022)
Twenty-time Grand Slam winner and Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer took his final bow at the 2022 Laver Cup Event in London, at the end of September 2022, where he announced his retirement from the sport. He participated in his last doubles match for Team Europe alongside his good friend, the King of Clay Rafael Nadal, and other tennis big wigs Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.
Now you can stream Federer’s Laver Cup swansong press conference, during which he spoke candidly to the world’s media about his career, his injuries, his coach, and mentor the late Peter Carter, and his expectations for the 2022 Laver Cup – and going out with a bang!
Along with this footage, Federer fans and tennis enthusiasts can also re-live his career highlights with the Roger Federer docuseries, also available on Showmax. This eight-episode docuseries includes excerpts from the following documentaries and sports specials: Against All Odds; Roger Federer: The First Man In History To Win Eight Wimbledon Titles; Sporting Greats; The Immortals: The Greatest Athletes Of All Time; and Roger Federer 2015 Africa Visit.
It’s a grand slam of sports entertainment on Showmax, with everything you need to know, study, and absorb about the one and only Roger Federer.
