Gomora S2: Will Gladys’s revelation be the final nail in the coffin for her marriage?
This week’s episodes reveal that, no matter how hard someone can try to hide the truth, it always finds a way to come out.
Melusi’s world hasn’t been the same since the death of his son, Langa. What’s worst is that his world is about to be turned upside down when he discovers who’s behind Langa’s death. Let’s take a look at what has been happening in Mzansi’s hit show Gomora.
The truth finally comes out
Gladys was having a heart-to-heart with her unborn child, expressing how Thati brings out the worst in her and her regret at mistakenly killing Langa. She didn’t notice that Melusi was standing right behind her and listening to every word she uttered.
“I know that what I did to her son was horrible and painful. I regret it every single day. But, Thando, it was a mistake. I never knew there was someone in the tavern that night.”
She continued: “I mean, I wouldn’t just burn a child to death just because I want to punish his mother or his grandmother. No, I’d never do that. In all honesty, baby, it was a mistake.”
Melusi felt betrayed by Gladys as he couldn’t believe that his wife was capable of doing something like this and then hiding it from him for so long. Gladys tried to explain that it was a mistake that she regrets.
Melusi reports Gladys to the cops
Melusi struggled to come to terms with the fact Gladys was involved in Langa’s death. He then decided to take the matter to the police. This touched a lot of viewers who had mixed reactions regarding Melusi’s decision.
While he was stating his case to the detective, Gladys walked in and says she’s come to hand herself in for the murder. Melusi quickly shut it down and tells the detective that there has been a misunderstanding. They continued arguing outside the police station and it became apparent that Melusi realised he didn’t want his pregnant wife in jail.
But guess what he did next? Instead of going home and sitting down with Gladys to fix things, he went straight to Thati.
Melusi runs back into Thathi’s arms
Melusi chose Thathi again, over his pregnant wife who needs him now more than ever. While Gladys was regretting what she did and crying for all the things she has had to endure since Langa’s death, Thati rejoiced as she has Melusi wrapped around her fingers. Viewers are not happy with Melusi for always running away from his problems and choosing Thati over Gladys.
Who will Melusi choose in the end?
It’s no secret that Melusi is in love with both women. He is Gladys’s husband and they have been married for a long time, but things have since changed for the worse between them and he has left Gladys crying again. Melusi made his decision and packed all his bags to live with Thati.
