My Two Wives S1-6
Created and produced by Philippe Bresson through his company Insignia Productions, the Kenyan drama series My Two Wives follows Eddy Peter (Pendo, Majaribu) as Zach, a man whose marriage is tested when he’s suddenly forced to deal with two wives all living under the same roof.
After the death of his older brother, Zach is forced to inherit his wife Damaris (Wakio Mzenge, Selina, Tales from the Accidental City) due to an age-old tradition of wife inheritance. Despite his initial protests, he’s left with no choice when his mother threatens to deny him his inheritance worth Ksh 80 million.
Adding to his woes, Zach has to deal with his legitimate wife Toni (Diana Mulwa), a temperamental diva who is determined to mark her territory putting Zach’s already strained marriage in jeopardy.
Directed by Mohammed Abdallah, My Two Wives also stars Ephantus Mwangi, Louisa Akadeli, Sofia Mohammed, Monica Wairimu and Gabriel Jamal.
At the Kalasha Awards 2018, My Two Wives won Best Actor and Best Actress in a TV Drama for Eddy Peter and Diana Mulwa respectively.
