Prince and Kiddwaya bid BBNaija Lockdown house goodbye

With the Big Brother Naija Lockdown season drawing to a close, tensions are rising and the competition has become tougher.

25-year-old Prince Nelson Enwerem and 27-year old Kidd Waya became the 11th and 12th evictees of the season in the Big Brother Sunday live eviction, live-streamed on Showmax.

As usual, Ebuka grilled the housemates on recent happenings in the house and advised the housemates to brace as the competition enters the final stage.

Here’s what went down.

Question time!

Ebuka congratulated Trickytee on being the Head of House, then asked him why he thought his relationship dynamics with the housemates was a certain way, making reference to when Trickytee told Laycon that he picked him because he was sure no one else would have picked him (Trickytee) if they were in his shoes. Trickytee responded that he feels each housemate has a favourite and he didn’t think he is anyone’s favourite except, maybe Kiddwaya.

Ebuka moved on to Laycon and asked if in his opinion, the housemates were entertaining this week. Laycon responded that they were. Ebuka then asked him to pick a specific time, and he said on Friday night when Biggie opened the Jacuzzi for them to use as part of their reward for winning the wager. Ebuka went on to ask him if he felt things have cooled off in the house and he said in all honesty, he feels all the housemates are tense and on their toes as they approach the finale.

Prince evicted

After showing the viewers various recaps from the past week, Ebuka crossed into the house for the eviction process. After a dramatic pause, he announced Prince as the 11th evictee of the season and he was given 10 seconds to leave the Big Brother house. The housemates bade him farewell as he exited.

Eviction interview with Ebuka

After the eviction, Prince joined Ebuka on stage and was asked how he felt. He responded that he was good but Ebuka probed him more, saying he did not feel he was doing good, seeing as he had had a moody week. Ebuka then asked him how he handled the tension and Prince responded that he saw it coming which was why he wanted to win the Head of House challenge badly.

Ebuka then asked him about his relationship with Nengi. Was it Ozo who made him move on, or the things Nengi said to push him off? Prince responded that he came into the house not wanting a relationship, but the housemates kept on pressuring him to say who he liked and so he finally admitted he liked Nengi. He then realised some other housemates liked him and he was all for the fun until he had to stop because he realised his attitude was hurting people.

After viewing his highlights, Ebuka asked him what was going on with Dorathy and he said he loves Dorathy as a sister, and it is a friendship that he is grateful for.

Prince was then shown who nominated him for eviction. He was particularly shocked to see that Trickytee was on the list, but not surprised by the others, as he knew everyone saw him as a threat.

Ebuka went on to ask him what will happen with Tolanibaj now that he is out and he said he feels they have scores to settle. After the questions, Prince shared his plans for the future and publicly asked Ebuka to be his mentor as he had always admired him. He said his dream is to be the “Ebuka of Nollywood” stating that he wants to be the “Ebuka” of Nollywood’ – an actor who can also present. He also shared that he would like to go into agriculture and open a salon too.

Another round of questions

Following the eviction interview with Prince, Ebuka crossed back into the house to speak to Dorathy. He asked her if it was fair to say she has been camera conscious and has not been herself, and pointed out that she always seems to dread the questions from “Ebuka and Friends’’. She responded that she has been herself – but she’s not the type to talk about other people’s issues with someone else so she prefers not to answer questions about the other housemates’ affairs.

Ebuka asked Kiddwaya about the whispers that something’s brewing between himself and Nengi. He answered that he likes her and they have a lot in common, but insisted that they’re just friends.

Ebuka also asked Ozo about his proposal to Nengi and her response to it. He said her response was the same as it had been on the first day: she has a relationship outside the house. Ozo said he respects her decision and they’ve both decided to focus on the game.

Kiddwaya gets evicted

Ebuka asked the nominated housemates to stand again and called Dorathy. After a long pause, he announced she was safe. He proceeded to announce the 12th evictee of the season to be Kiddwaya. With hugs, the housemates bade him goodbye as Biggie gave him 10 seconds to exit the house.

Kiddwaya chats with Ebuka

After the eviction, Kiddwaya joined Ebuka on stage. Asked how he felt, he said he was good and definitely happy to be out because he missed the gym and the outside world in general. When asked if he did not want to win the prize money, he said money was never really his motivation, his primary goal for coming to the Big Brother house was to try something new and make new connections.

Ebuka then asked him to explain his situation with Nengi now that he was out and the housemates could not hear him. He confirmed that there was no physical or sexual attraction and they were just friends.

Ebuka then asked him what was going on between himself and Erica, and he responded that he felt safe around her and also opened up about how she watched his back. He said whether it is friendship or a relationship, he did not want to lose her.

After watching his highlights, Ebuka asked him to do the leg dance that had become popular among fans and he said he could only dance when he was drunk. After viewing the housemates who nominated him, he said he wasn’t surprised – he felt they didn’t really want him because they thought he didn’t need the money.

After the round of questions, Kiddwaya shared his plans saying that he missed the gym and he would go there first because it was important for him to be mentally fit. After that, he’d figure out the next move with his team.

The final round of questions

Ebuka asked Nengi if she believed her discussion with Ozo on agreeing to wait till outside the house had stuck with him, and she said she didn’t know because he doesn’t listen. Ebuka also asked her about her altercation with Vee and she said it was meaningless and they are good now.

Closing out

Ebuka advised the housemates to stay focused as they enter the new week because anything they do might make or mar them. He warned them to be careful and not to be trusting of anyone as this week was going to be a very tough one. He ended with the Pidgin English quote “No be every kiss be sign of love’’.
