Pre-schoolers to tweens: Dora and Friends
Dora’s 10 years old now. She’s grown her hair out, her trusty Map is an app on her phone, she wears earrings and a magical charm bracelet, and has made a crowd of new friends at school in the city of Playa Verde. More strange mysteries, fun adventures and hidden treasures await for Dora and her crew, who help to keep their city safe. While Dora herself is firmly now in the “tween” demographic, even die-hard pre-school-aged Dora fans will adore the spin-off. Watch now »
Tweens: All Grown Up!
And speaking of cartoon characters getting older, the Rugrats kids have done some growing up of their own. Set 10 years after the original series, this spin-off sees Angelica, Tommy, Dil, Susie and the others facing pre-teen and teenaged problems – they may be older, but they’re not necessarily wiser! Tweens, teens and adults: Aaahh! Real Monsters
In this silly, perverse, funny, clever, and sometimes kind-of gross animated series, young monsters Ickis, Oblina and Krumm are in training at the Monster Academy. Their madcap adventures begin when they have to leave the dump they live in (which uses toenails as currency) and try to scare the humans living in New York City. Watch now »
Teens and adults: Invader Zim
The cult favourite cartoon series has arrived on Showmax! Join the hapless, accident-prone, very short, very dumn alien Zim as he and his robot Gir are sent on a fake mission to take over a random planet so that they can get as far away from their home planet as possible. It turns out that the random planet far away is Earth. Zim starts to infiltrate the human race at school while planning global domination, but one of his classmates has his number and is determined to expose him as an alien. Watch now »
