Bett's determination

Bett, still giving his father the cold shoulder, puts pressure on Evangeline to find Sinde. He involves the police, suspecting Evangeline's involvement. Detective Beryl rocks Bett’s world when she reveals suspicions of Sinde's death on the day she vanished.
Shei's risky move

Shei introduces formidable opponent Ryan Fitzpatrick to EAGC, causing tension with Lizzy due to their long history. Cyrus warns Shei about Fitzpatrick's danger.

The Syndicate retaliates against Kiilu, revoking his club membership, effectively labelling him persona non grata among the elite. It’s the first move of many by The Syndicate, who will do whatever it takes to protect their interests.
Leo's family inquisition

Leo's family members receive summonses for a court inquisition. Concerns mount across the board, jeopardising the sacco. Leo asks The Syndicate to stand by him in the inquisition while Evangeline uses her social capital to convince the Lotus Ladies to do the same for her.
Evangeline's setup

In a shocking turn of events, Evangeline awakens in her car, woozy, confused and unsure of how she got there. Next moment, she’s arrested by the police and a body is discovered in her car: it’s Sinde!
