The cast of Inconceivable
Inconceivable follows a group of women who have been close friends for years. Along with balancing their demanding careers and their relationships, they’re also facing a passionate affair, a struggle with infertility, fierce competitiveness and even fiercer love.
The full season is now ready to binge-watch on Showmax. Before you settle in for a dose of home-grown drama, read on to find out more about the characters.
Carine Rous as Rachel Bishop
Rachel is an advocate and your typical A-type personality: she seeks perfection in everything, from her job to her pregnancy, now in its ninth month. She is trendy and fashionable, and is married to trophy husband, James.
Anel Alexander as Marieke Meyer
Marieke is Rachel’s best friend from school and university. A qualified gynaecologist, Marieke specialises in fertility in her busy private clinic. She has two kids who may just need a little more love and attention from their always-in-crisis-mode mommy. She is seen as the moral compass of the group.
You will recognise Anel from Sink, which she also produced, and which received multiple accolades worldwide. She’s also appeared in Semi-Soet and Discreet, plus soaps including Binnelanders and Getroud Met Rugby.
Sisanda Henna as Sisanda Nkosi
Sisanda started a construction company on the side while studying Business at UCT until he met Busi, who was his tutor. He eventually dropped out. Now, years later, he and Busi are married, with an agreement that they won’t have kids, but he’s started thinking he might actually enjoy being a dad…
You will also find Sisanda Henna in Trackers and the upcoming Showmax movie Rogue, landing on 3 December 2020.
Jay Anstey as Tamsin Watts
