The Mommy Club Sugar & Spice: Kim extends an olive branch to Christina
After the drama that ensued at Lenore’e event, Kim reached out to Christina to check up on her. She set up a cute picnic so that she and Christina could connect and reflect on how things ended at their last gathering.
“So, I just actually called you here to see how you’re doing after everything that happened. So, Lenore’s event was a little bit, you know, all over the place. So, I wanted to check in to see how you were doing ‘cause I know you left, I don’t know if anyone reached out to you,” she told Christina, adding that she’s extending kindness.
Making things right

She said she had spoken to a lot of the moms and her intention was to find out where Christina’s at. Christina expressed the discomfort of speaking about what happened at the last gathering. “In my mind I kept thinking ‘how am I gonna fix this’ because clearly I do have to fix this,” she said.
Christina told Kim: “I think a lot of you guys are being very kind to me for like reaching out and I guess I was upset at the Pencil Club when I left.” She shared that this was between her and Lenore. “It was a misunderstanding between us and unfortunately at an event like that things shouldn’t be stirred up for somebody to have to cost their event, and then everyone then join in,” she added.
No remorse?

She told Kim that she knows Lenore was angry and “rightfully so”. “At this point I’m like ‘okay, she’s finally getting it'. Did the light bulb switch on? She’s getting it, right,” Kim said. She then asked if Christina’s admitting that she said something that was out of hand. “A hundred percent. I called her [Lenore] old,” Christina replied. However, Kim could sense that Christina had no remorse about her remarks.
“I was wrong. I should not have called her old. I should not have shouted at her. I should not have walked away from her life, but I should have walked away from that event. I should have stood up for myself,” Christina said. She believes that Lenore made the mistake of thinking that just because she’s younger, she can speak to her in a way that is in line with her kids being younger than her, disciplining them. “I felt very violated.”
