The River: Will Kedibone turn Mabutho in?
Cobra always has a way of finding himself in the middle of drama. While he somehow manages to get himself out of every mess he gets into, this time around, his shenanigans have landed his family in trouble.
Kedibone has been very worried about Cobra’s relationship with Mabutho. On several occasions, the concerned aunt has voiced out his opinion to her nephew, but he obviously doesn’t listen. Because she wants what’s best for Cobra, Kedibone went as far as telling the police about Mabutho’s involvement in the robberies and heists that have been happening in Refilwe. She figured this all by herself, but has no idea that Cobra is also a big part of the problem.
Mabutho goes after Kedibone
This led to Mabutho and Cobra being questioned by the police and of course, they denied their involvement in the crimes. After being released, Mabutho made it his mission to get Kedibone to keep quiet. He told her to call the cops so that his name could be cleared, but she refused.
When his threats didn’t work, Mabutho decided to abduct Kedibone in order to teach her a lesson. He took her to a shack somewhere around Refilwe and threatened her some more. He told her to clear his name but she still refused and this got him very angry. At some point, Kedibone even escaped but Mabutho found her. And this time, Mabutho was determined to deal with Cobra’s aunt. However, her quick mind and intelligence saved the day.
Will Kedibone reveal the truth about Mabutho?
Kedibone used reverse psychology on him and brought up his mother and son just so she could hit a nerve. This got Mabutho in a sad state and he became very disappointed in himself and his actions. “I’ve disappointed my son. When I got out of prison, I promised him and my family that I’d leave the life of crime. But look at me now,” Mabutho said.
He then told Kedibone that he would hand himself in. After their emotional heart-to-heart, they heard people screaming Kedibone’s name outside. Both of their families are looking for them because the community and the police were informed about their disappearance. Now the question on everyone’s mind is: will Kedibone snitch on Mabutho, or will she protect him?
