Too many amazing artists left this world too soon including these six incredible musicians who passed away at age 27.
1. Jimi Hendrix
Hendrix was said to have died by overdosing on sleeping pills and choking on his own vomit on September 18, 1970.
2. Amy Winehouse
The singer was found dead on July 23, 2011 in her London home where she died of an alcohol overdose.
3. Janis Joplin
The incredible singer-songwriter was said to have died from a heroin overdose on October 4, 1970.
4. Jim Morrison from The Doors
There are many rumours surrounding Jim Morrison’s death, including accounts that he accidentally sniffed heroin thinking it was cocaine and then overdosed on July 3, 1971. The official police report does mention he died from a heroin overdose.
5. Brian Jones from the Rolling Stones
The original founder of The Rolling Stones was found dead at the bottom of his pool on July 3, 1969, in what was classified as a drowning “death by misadventure”.
