Uthando Lodumo S2: Babes addresses Mampintsha’s infidelity
Babes Wodumo is tired of being lied to. The singer wants her husband, Mampintsha, to come clean about whether or not he has a child outside of their marriage. When she brought it up to him on the latest episode of Uthando Lodumo, he was shocked but wasn’t opposed to doing a paternity test.
Is it just hearsay?
She asked him about the suspicions she’s been having about an alleged child outside of their relationship. “So, I’m requesting a paternity test so that we can find out if the child is yours or not.” The Big Nuz band member replied: “What child? What are you talking about?”. She told him it’s the child they’re constantly fighting about. He apparently shares the child with a girl from South Beach.
“It’s painful to hear that your husband has impregnated another girl. I’m confused and I don’t really know where I stand,” Babes mentioned on the show. Mampintsha, on the other hand, is convinced that this is hearsay. “I think she may have heard it from people that are jealous of me. There’s no way that I would have a child and hide it from my wife. That’s the last thing I would do given that I’ve never had a child before,” he said.

Babes hurt and embarrassed by Mampintsha’s flirting
After that uncomfortable conversation, Mampintsha decided to go get some fresh air, while Babes went to see their counselor, Pastor Dube. When she sat down with him, Babes complained about her husband’s flirting tendencies. “When I log onto his Instagram, I see the messages he sends to other female celebrities that I know. Some of them told him to stop it because they know he’s married to me,” she said, adding that he even sends them fire emojis, which she finds embarrassing.
The mother of one then brought up the fact that Mampintsha has also gone as far as not only hitting on her female dancers but also sleeping with some of them. “He’s hurting me both at work and home. When I fire these girls and get new dancers, he does the same even with those ones.”
Babes dropped some more tea by revealing that her husband has also dated some of her friends.

Will it end in tears?
The alleged child, according to the award-winning musician, lives in KwaMashu. “I’ve been sent a picture of this child… This child looks exactly like my friend’s older child.”
She’s been pleading with him to confess so that they can go for a DNA test. And because they’re a married couple, Babes believes that there shouldn’t be secrets between them.
“My only issue is that he’s hiding it from me. If he keeps this up, this girl could coerce him into marrying her in secret because this child qualifies her to be a second wife,” she explained. She’s worried that if he continues denying fathering a child outside their marriage, this could have negative implications for them a few years down the line.
“The issue with hiding this from me is that if I find out in six or seven years that it’s true, I might ask him for a divorce.”
