It’s a day that’s written in history. Saturday, 2 November, the day the Boks lifted the William Webb Ellis trophy for a third time, equally the All Blacks’ record and creating a new record as the only team never to lose a World Cup final.
Plenty has already been written about the match – about coach Rassie Erasmus’s response to the question about the pressure faced by the team, about captain Siya Kolisi’s acceptance speech, about the tries by Cheslin Kolbe and Makazole Mapimpi, about Faf meeting Prince Harry in that SA-flag-patterned speedo.

Known as “the Black Pearl”, Chester was the only person of colour in the Springbok 1995 World Cup team.

This drama series from Mzansi Magic is about two archrivals, Monwabisi and Asanda, who both hail from a small town in the Eastern Cape and whose families are embroiled in a bitter feud. When the boys compete for a rugby scholarship to attend a prominent private high school in Johannesburg, they have no idea how the game and the school will change their lives.
