It's an incredibly brave show, and the amount of people willing to show their face on it proves how long overdue an honest conversation around Afrikaners' varied sexual identities has been. [...] I expect it will receive a lot of backlash from the very people it's trying to help, but it would be all worth it if it just helps one person feel less alone and like an alien in their own community.
