Showmax to stream MTN8 semi-finals and final

Update, 27 August 2024: The first semi-final (Cape Town City vs Orlando Pirates) for 27 August 2024 has been postponed due to weather, and will be played on Wednesday, 28 August 2024 at 19:00 CAT.

In the first semi-final, Cape Town City will go head-to-head with Orlando Pirates at Cape Town Stadium, while the return leg sees the Cape outfit travelling to Soweto.

Pirates are aiming for their third consecutive MTN8 title, while City will be looking to secure their second triumph in the competition.

The second semi-final will see Mamelodi Sundowns battle it out with Stellenbosch FC. Sundowns, the reigning Premier Soccer League champions, will face Stellenbosch FC at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in the first leg, while the second leg will be played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Sundowns have won the MTN8 four times, while Stellenbosch FC will be eager to make their mark in the tournament.
