Showmax survey terms and conditions (South Africa)
- These are the mechanics that will govern your participation in and acceptance of the content preference survey ran by Showmax in South Africa (“Content Survey”) and its partners, co-promoters, sponsors, subsidiaries and holding companies directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives (“Showmax”).
- These mechanics will be subject to the standard terms and conditions applicable to offers by Showmax which can be found on the MultiChoice website.
- Subject to system dependencies, by participating in the Content Survey, you will automatically be entered into a draw and stand a chance to win three month’s free access to Showmax. (“Rewards”).
- The Rewards will be awarded to participating subscribers at no cost. The Rewards are standard rewards awarded by Showmax. If you make any changes to a Reward other than offered by Showmax, you will be responsible for any additional costs and expenses related thereto.
- The Content Survey will end on 15 September 2020 and winners will be chosen by way of random selection and at the sole discretion of the judges, whose decision will be final. Winners will be contacted via e-mail and/or mobile phone.
- Rewards that have not been claimed within 30 days of notifications being sent will be forfeited.
- Neither Showmax, nor any of its affiliates or partners, will be held responsible for disputes in connection with the Rewards or the Content Survey, or for any loss, damage or injury that may be suffered or incurred by prize winners.
- Information gathered will be used only for research purposes and will not be given, sold or distributed to any unauthorised 3rd party.
- The Showmax functionality is not transferable and may not be deferred, changed or exchanged for cash or any other item.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that any information which you provide to us is accurate, complete and up to date. We may request you to provide us with such additional information and documentation as we may require in order to process, confirm and facilitate your acceptance of the Reward.
- Showmax reserves the right to vary, postpone, suspend or cancel the Content Survey, or any aspect thereof, without notice, at any time and for any reason necessary. In the event of such variation, postponement, suspension or cancellation, subscribers will not have any recourse against Showmax.
- Neither Showmax nor its affiliates will be liable and disclaim all liability for any harm, damage, loss or claim arising from the Content Survey.
- For purposes hereof, “affiliate” means our partners, co-promoters and sponsors of this Showmax functionality, our subsidiaries, our and their subsidiaries and respective holding companies, the subsidiaries of their holding companies, and our and their directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives.
- These terms and conditions will be construed, interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of contract and dispute resolution in Kenya.
- Showmax’s decision on any matter concerning the Content Survey and/or arising out of these terms and conditions is final and binding on you, and no correspondence will be entered into.
