The Real Housewives of Nairobi episode 3 recap: Birds of a feather
In episode of The Real Housewives of Nairobi, the theme of the day is decluttering, but it seems like some of our favourite ladies are having a hard time letting go of their baggage. Sonal is throwing a declutter party at the swanky Kempinski Hotel, and while Minne has promised to show up, she’s also promised to bring the shade. Sonal is worried that things are going to get out of control, so she turns to her BFFs Susan and Elena for support.

Meanwhile, Maria shows up unannounced at Lifestyle to apologise to Lisa for being a no-show at her rally event in episode 2, but Lisa’s not buying it and decides it’s the last time she invites Maria to one of her events. Minne takes Vera shopping for baby items, but it seems like Vera is less than impressed with Minne’s choices and prefers to shop abroad for the best of the best. Susan spends some quality time with her daughter Mia, bonding over school, friends and boys, leaving Susan feeling like the luckiest mom in the world.

Things take a turn when Vera receives a secret dinner invitation, only to find out it’s from Maria, trying to clear the air. But Vera is not interested and storms off. Afterwards, Maria decides to return to Romania. Is she leaving for good?
All of this drama leads up to the declutter party, where the ladies try to cleanse their energies by decluttering fake friends and toxic relationships. But when Minne shows up seven hours late, in tears, claiming to be grieving her father-in-law, she makes the whole thing about herself and ruins Sonal’s event in the process. The tension between Minne, Sonal, and Susan escalates, with Minne delivering the shade she promised. Ouch.
