The River: Lindiwe shows Dambisa who’s boss
Everyone was excited to see her, although her arrival was unexpected. However, things quickly changed after she opened her mouth and presented the “greatest” business idea. Dambisa stood in front of Zweli, Lindiwe and their children and told them about her nappy business. None of her family members seemed to be interested in her presentation but she definitely got their attention after mentioning that she needed at least R200 000 to get the business off the ground.
Lindiwe pours water on Dambisa’s business idea
Lindiwe’s very famous for her love of money but even this caught the Dikanas off guard. It was clear from the start that Lindiwe wasn’t having any of that and refused to give Dambisa her hard-earned money. Dambisa thought it would be easy to get that much money from her sister-in-law but she was clearly mistaken.
While Lindiwe wasn’t fooled and didn’t fall for Dambisa’s tricks, Zweli, on the other hand, proved that he has a soft spot for his sister. He sent Dambisa R200 000 from the family account and Lindiwe lost it after seeing the notification on her side. She had a word with her husband and managed to convince him to reverse the transaction.
Dambisa is seeing flames!
After taking the money back, Zweli told his sister that he’ll start off by giving her R20 000 to get her started. As expected, Dambisa threw a fit and was clearly not impressed. And, it turns out Lindiwe’s gut was right all along.
Convincing Zweli to take the money back was the best thing she could have done because Dambisa was only trying to scam them. The whole story about the business was just a lie that Dambisa created to cover her tracks.
Dambisa came clean to Flora and told her about the Dikana social club. She explained that there’s a lot of money invested in the club. However, all the money is gone. So, it’s clear that Dambisa had something to do with the disappearance of the money, and that’s why she made up a story about opening a business.
