• The Offer

If you purchase a Showmax Entertainment All Devices Subscription Plan with monthly payment between 13 February 2025 to 30 June 2025, load your payment card details and use the link or promo code sent to you, you will get 50% discount on the standard subscription fee for a period of 12 months (“Offer”). This Offer is provided by Showmax SA (Pty) Ltd (“Showmax”).

• Eligibility

To Participate in the Offer, you must:

• reside in South Africa
• • load your payment card details and choose a Showmax Entertainment All Devices Subscription Plan with monthly payment;
• • receive the link or promo code from Showmax via email or WhatsApp and insert it on the checkout page; and
• subscribe to Showmax Entertainment All Devices Subscription Plan with monthly payment between 13 February 2025 to 30 June 2025 (“Offer Period”).
• Offer terms and conditions
  • The Offer must be redeemed during the Offer Period.
  • This Offer is subject to you remaining connected for the months you wish to use the Offer. Note: This Offer does not require an upfront payment for all 12 months. You will be billed monthly. You may cancel the Subscription Plan anytime. Please note that if you cancel the Subscription Plan, you will forfeit the Offer for the remainder of the 12-month period.
  • The Offer is subject to successful processing of your payment and confirmation of your eligibility by Showmax. Showmax reserves the right to not provide the Offer to you if the maximum capacity of 10,000 redemptions is reached.
• It is your responsibility to ensure that payment of the applicable subscription fee is received by Showmax in a timely manner. Without limitation, Showmax is not responsible for any difficulties encountered with third party merchants nor for any costs that you may incur to participate in this Offer.
• General provisions
  • These terms and conditions must be read together with the Showmax Terms and Conditions and the Showmax Privacy Policy.
  • The Offer is not transferable to any third party.
  • The Offer cannot be exchanged for another offer, benefit or cash.
  • Save as stated herein, we do not make any representations or give any warranties, whether expressly or implicitly, as to the Offer.
  • Showmax will not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
  • Showmax may cede, assign or novate any or all of its rights and/or any or all of its obligations set out herein and/or in the Showmax Terms and Conditions to any person or entity without notice to you.
  • Showmax reserves the right to suspend or stop your participation in the Offer if you are involved in fraud or manipulation of the process.
  • If you fail to comply with any of the Offer Terms, then without prejudice to any other remedy which Showmax may have, you will be automatically disqualified, and you will forfeit the Offer.
  • Showmax reserves the right to vary, postpone, suspend, temporarily withdraw or cancel the Offer at any time and for any reason which we deem necessary. In the event of such variation, postponement, suspension or cancellation, you agree to waive any rights, interests and expectations that you may have in terms of this Offer and acknowledge that you will have no recourse against Showmax.
  • Showmax will not be responsible and disclaim all liability for any loss, liability, injury, expense or damage (whether direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential) of any nature, whether arising from negligence or any other cause, which is suffered by your participation in the Offer. If any liability is imputed to Showmax, such liability will be limited to the value of your Subscription Plan.
  • Showmax’s failure to enforce any of the rights or provisions of the Offer or the Offer Terms that apply to the Offer will not be deemed to be a waiver of such right or provision.
  • These Offer Terms will be construed, interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
• By redeeming the Offer, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Offer Terms and all other applicable documents. If you do not agree with these Offer Terms, please do not redeem the Offer.
