Renowned South African actress Renate Stuurman, who also stars in Unmarried, recently made her debut as Sheree Jacobson on The River. While there was a lot of excitement around her joining the stellar cast, some viewers already have a love-hate relationship with her character.
Sheree works for mining magnate Lindiwe Dlamini. Her boss invited Sheree to live with her family, but no one was ready for Sheree and her seductive ways. While Lindiwe is away for a while, Sheree has made it her mission to break up the Dlamini marriage, even going as far as drugging Zweli (Lindiwe’s husband). Although Zweli made it clear he no longer wants her in his home, Sheree just doesn’t seem to get it and is determined to stay. Now, the question on viewers’ minds is: When is Lindiwe coming back? She better return before her marriage falls apart.

Will Walter get a second chance?
Since the day he was introduced to viewers, Walter was fighting to have his name cleared. He served more than 10 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Imagine being wrongfully accused and not being able to do anything about it? But, as they say, there’s always a silver lining.
Last week, Walter finally received some good news as he was told that his criminal record had been expunged. Now he can move on with his life, right? Not so fast. Viewers watched as a sad Walter told Malefu how his job didn’t go as well as he had hoped. Although his name has been cleared, the fact that he spent 15 years in prison will follow him for the rest of his life. Will Walter ever get a second chance? Only time will tell.
