Is The Wife series on a production break?

Yes, Showmax’s hit telenovela The Wife is currently on a broadcast break.

New episodes of The Wife Season 3 drop on Showmax every Thursday morning – except for Thursday, 16 February and Thursday, 23 February, when Season 3 is on a two-week broadcast break.

When does Season 3 of The Wife continue?

The Wife will return on 2 March 2023 to answer all your remaining questions before the third and final season concludes on 6 April 2023. How will Mqhele and Hlomu’s toxic love story end? Will Qhaledi reunite and live happily ever after, despite their families’ rivalry? And what is Xoli going to do next? So many questions; so little time…

How many episodes of the Wife are there?

Showmax has commissioned three seasons of The Wife – the third season is the final season.

What is there to watch in The Wife broadcast break?

Stream 10 episodes of DiepCity Season 1 every Friday, or binge-watch The Real Housewives of Cape Town or new episodes of The Real Housewives of Durban and, from 17 February, The Real Housewives of Abuja.

There are also nine seasons of Date My Family to stream, new weekly episodes of Makoti, Are You The One?, plus brand-new instalments of the sixth and final season of The River. If you’re looking for an intriguing South African movie, try Thato Ya Modimo, starring rising star Zikhona Bali, landing only on Showmax on 17 February.
