The White Lotus Season 3 guestbook
Whether you prefer your luxury quiet or loud, there’s no entertainment quite as gripping as watching the super rich people unmask in their natural environment – whether it’s in a multi-award-winning series like Succession, or a multi-award-winning show like The White Lotus.
The White Lotus centres on the staff and guests at the high end international White Lotus resort hotel group. In Season 1 we visited The White Lotus resort hotel on Maui. In Season 2, we booked in at The White Lotus in Sicily along with Season 1’s rich and ditzy nightmare guest Tanya McQuoid (Jennifer Coolidge), who continued her obsession with the hotel chain.
In Season 3, Tanya is, alas, no longer with us. But perhaps her “dreams” will live on. Belinda Lindsey (Natasha Rothwell, Kelli in Insecure) – the spa manager at the White Lotus on Maui who fell prey to Tanya’s emotional manipulation in Season 1 only for Tanya to go back on her word instead of going into business with her – is making moves at the resort’s branch in Thailand.
The White Lotus Season 3 is set to start production this February on location around Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok, with original series creator-director and showrunner Mike White. HBO has partnered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to support the filming and promotion of the third season. Janet Graham Borba, EVP of Production, HBO & Max says, "We are pleased to partner with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to execute Mike’s creative vision and showcase all that the beautiful country of Thailand has to offer, as the next group of guests check in to the White Lotus.”
Be our guest

Speaking of those guests, can anyone truly fill the Tanya McQuoid void? We want entitled, rich weirdness. We want absolutely no sense of perspective or self-awareness! So let’s run a finger down the star-studded guest book to try to figure out who’s checking in to be a nightmare, and who’ll be stuck putting up with their nonsense. Right off the bat, we’d tell the staff to watch out for Jason and Carrie, since we’ve seen them both go to extremes as snobby, demanding old money elites with short fuses…
- Carrie Coon (Nora in The Leftovers and Bertha in The Gilded Age)
- Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter’s Lucius Malfoy and Archie in Mrs Harris Goes to Paris)
- Michelle Monaghan (Maggie in True Detective S1 and Julia in the Mission: Impossible films)
- Leslie Bibb (Stephanie in Zookeeper and reporter Christine Everhart in the Avengers universe)
- Dom Hetrakul (the voice of Puss in Boots in the 2011 movie, and in the Thai dub)
- Parker Posey (Freda in The Staircase)
And we can expect a truly international sets of guests as the cast includes Australian actress Morgana O’Reilly (Mean Mums, My Life is Murder, Wentworth), Sri Lankan actress Shalini Peiris, German actor-singer Christian Friedel, Thai actors Lek Patravadi and Tayme Thapthimthong, and Serbian actor Miloš Biković.
A five-star experience

It’s not just guests like Tanya leaving rave reviews for The White Lotus.
The White Lotus S1 received 20 Emmy nominations across 13 categories and 10 wins, including the Emmys for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series (Jennifer Coolidge), Outstanding Directing for a Limited or Anthology Series (Mike White), and Outstanding Writing for a Limited or Anthology Series (Mike White), along with five creative Emmys. It also picked up the Critics Choice Awards for Best Supporting Actor and Actress in a Limited Series (Murray Bartlett and Jennifer Coolidge).
The White Lotus S2 garnered 23 Emmy nominations, picking up Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (Jennifer Coolidge) along with four creative Emmys. It also won the Critics Choice Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (Jennifer Coolidge), and the Golden Globes for Best Limited of Anthology Series and Best Supporting Actress (Jennifer Coolidge).
