Starting Monday, 1 September 2025, if you are an MTN customer, you can pay for Showmax seamlessly and directly with your MTN line using your airtime either through SMS or USSD.
This seamless payment option means you won’t need a bank card or digital wallet as an MTN subscriber to subscribe for and stream all your favourite movies, shows and all Premier League games on Showmax.
How to pay for the Showmax Entertainment Mobile plan via SMS
- Recharge your MTN line with at least ₦2 000 airtime.
- Send an SMS from your MTN line with “GE3A” to 13115 for Showmax Entertainment Mobile.
- Follow the confirmation message and activate your Showmax plan.
- Start streaming immediately on your mobile device.
To subscribe to the Showmax Entertainment All Devices plan using airtime, SMS “GE2A” from your MTN line to 13115; and to subscribe to the Showmax Premier League Mobile plan using airtime, SMS “EPLA” from your MTN line to 13115.

- Recharge your MTN line with at least ₦2 000 airtime.
- Dial *480*8083# for Showmax Entertainment Mobile
- Follow the confirmation message and activate your Showmax plan
- Start streaming immediately on your mobile device
