1.     The Offer

If you purchase a bundle package comprising Showmax Entertainment (All Devices) and PL Mobile (“Bundle”) for a Subscription Period of three (3) months between 13 February 2025 and 30 April 2025 (“Offer Period”) and use the promo code “SMX3” (“Promo Code”) at the checkout page on www.showmax.com (“Showmax Website”), you will be entitled to a discounted price of R199 (“Offer”). If you participate in the Offer, you will receive access to both Subscription Plans included in the Bundle for the period of three (3) months. This Offer is provided by Showmax SA (Pty) Ltd (“Showmax”). The terms and conditions set forth below (“Offer Terms”) shall apply when you accept and redeem the Offer.

2.     Eligibility

To Participate in the Offer, you must:

2.1         reside in South Africa and have previously subscribed to any of the Showmax’s Subscription Plans;

2.2         be at least 18 years of age or older;

2.3         pay for the Bundle for a Subscription Period of three (3) months in advance within the Offer Period;

2.4         receive the Promo Code via email, SMS or through other communication channels operated by Showmax.

3.     Offer terms and conditions

3.1         The Promo Code must be redeemed within the Offer Period.

3.2         Upfront payment of R199 is required at the time of redemption. You may choose any of the available Payment Methods.

3.3         The Offer provides access to the Bundle for a continuous period of three (3) months from the date of redemption.

3.4         The Offer is subject to successful processing of your payment and confirmation of your eligibility by Showmax.

3.5         It is your responsibility to ensure that payment of the applicable subscription fee is received by Showmax in a timely manner. Without limitation, Showmax is not responsible for any difficulties encountered with third party merchants nor for any costs that you may incur to participate in this Offer.

3.6         Once redeemed, the Subscription Period provided by this Offer is fixed and will not be affected by any changes to your Payment Method or account details during that period.

4.     Other terms

4.1.        These Offer Terms are supplementary and must be read together with the Showmax Terms and Conditions and the Showmax Privacy Policy that govern the provision of the Showmax Service.

4.2.        Showmax will not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

4.3.        Showmax reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine your eligibility for the Offer.

4.4.        The Offer is not transferable to any third party.

4.5.        The Offer cannot be exchanged for another offer, benefit or cash.

4.6.        Showmax may cede, assign or novate any or all of its rights and/or any or all of its obligations set out herein and/or in the Showmax Terms and Conditions to any person or entity without notice to you.

4.7.        Showmax reserves the right to suspend or stop your participation in the Offer if you are involved in fraud or manipulation of the process.

4.8.        If you fail to comply with any of these Offer Terms, then without prejudice to any other remedy which we may have, you will be automatically disqualified, and you will forfeit the Offer.

4.9.        Showmax reserves the right to vary, postpone, suspend, temporarily withdraw or cancel the Offer at any time and for any reason which we deem necessary. In the event of such variation, postponement, suspension or cancellation, you agree to waive any rights, interests and expectations that you may have in terms of this Offer and acknowledge that you will have no recourse against Showmax.

4.10.     Showmax’s failure to enforce any of the rights or provisions of the Offer or the Offer Terms that apply to the Offer will not be deemed to be a waiver of such right or provision.

4.11.     By redeeming the Promo Code and making the upfront payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Offer Terms and all other applicable documents. If you do not agree with these Offer Terms, please do not redeem the Promo Code.
