A night of pure laughter filled with Mzansi’s comedy heavyweights, and of course a celebration of Minnie Dlamini as she debuted in the world of comedy roasts.
The Showmax Roast of Minnie Dlamini lit up the black carpet with Mzansi’s celebrities shining at the Sandton Convention Centre on 5 April 2024. TV host, actress, producer and entrepreneur Minnie Dlamini sat confidently on the throne while comedians and fellow celebrities playfully exchanged witty jabs.
Tumi Morake who has steadily grown into a trailblazer for comedians on the African continent was host for the night alongside stand-up comedian Jason Goliath.
For all those who missed the live performance, the Showmax Roast of Minnie Dlamini will air exclusively on Showmax from 26 April 2024. In the meantime, here’s a look at the panelists, celebs and other Mzansi A-listers who attended the roast live.
