The HBO documentary film Love, Lizzo follows Lizzo's life from her humble beginnings to her meteoric rise, sharing an intimate look into the moments that shaped her hard-earned rise to fame, success, love and international stardom as a multiple Grammy Award-winning hip hop artist who’s changed not only music, but culture as well.
This is the journey of a trailblazing superstar and body-positive icon who has become the movement the world desperately needed just by being herself. Along the way, Lizzo has won four Grammy Awards, including the coveted Record of the Year award earlier this year. Named Time Magazine’s Entertainer of the Year in 2019, she also has an Emmy (for her reality show, Watch Out For The Big Grrrls), a BET Award and a People’s Choice Award to her name, along with 13 million followers on Instagram and over 26 million on TikTok, with more than a billion likes, making her 2022’s Most Viewed Artist on the platform.
