M’tase Khaya (2024)
What happens when the good rescues the bad?
Directed by Athi Petela (Lockdown, Queendom), M’tase Khaya follows Lindiwe, who comes to Johannesburg to help Bongiwe, her bougie, estranged older sister, who is in jail and has been framed. Lindiwe works tirelessly to secure justice for her sister, but will this be enough to mend the broken trust between them?
Nozuko Ncayiyane (Nox in DiepCity) stars as Lindiwe, with Amanda Seome (Side Dish) as Bongiwe and Mzansi Viewer’s Choice Award winner Sana Mchunu (Youngins, Gomora, The River) as their mum. Also look out for Luzuko Nkqeto (Lingashoni, Grootboom & Sons, The Estate) as Detective Xulu and the likes of Thobani Mbhele (Ekhaya Backpackers), comedian Mongezi “Tol A$$ Mo” Mahlangu, Dippy Padi (Adulting, How To Ruin Christmas), and Kelo Mile (The Queen).
The action comedy is produced by MECA and Warchild (Forever Yena, Grootboom and Sons, Umbuso).
