
The Laugh Africa Comedy Festival S2
If you thought The Showmax Roast of Helen Zille was funny, just wait til the professional comedians take the stage.
Season 2 of Laugh Africa Comedy Festival brings together the 13 best stand-up sets from this year’s iconic festival.
Hosted by Eugene Khoza, the line-up includes Gagasi FM radio host and reality star Felix Hlophe; 2025 Comics Choice winners Celeste Ntuli (Comedian of the Year), Robby Collins (Headliner of the Year, Best Solo Show), and Khanyisa JamJam (Breakthrough Act of the Year); American comedian Griff and Ugandan funnyman Patrick Salvado; Comics Choice Lifetime Achiever Mark Banks; Roast host Trevor Gumbi; Standard Bank Ovation Award winner Standard Bank Ovation Award winner; Ntosh Madlingozi; Nina Hastie; and Kagiso “KG” Mokgadi, who was up for Headliner of the Year.
Stuart Taylor, Laugh Africa Comedy Festival’s creative director, says: “This year’s festival was an unforgettable showcase of humour that unites us all.”
Episodes 1-4 land on Friday, 15 August; episodes 5-7 on Friday, 22 August; episodes 8-10 on Friday, 29 August; and episodes 11-13 on Friday, 5 September.
