Nominated for Outstanding New Series at the 2022 GLAAD Media Awards, HBO Max’s The Sex Lives of College Girls follows four college roommates at the fictional Essex College. The new season picks up with the students returning after their Fall break, tackling the challenges thrown their way at the end of Season 1, and facing their next semester filled with new faces, parties and predicaments.
Created by six-time Emmy nominee Mindy Kaling (Never Have I Ever, The Office) and Brooklyn Nine-Nine writer Justin Noble, the 18SNL-rated The Sex Lives of College Girls has a 97% critics’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with Mashable calling it “a hilarious, sexy treat,” Entertainment Weekly saying it’s “smart, sharp and sassy,” and The Wrap calling it “raunchy rom-com fun.”
Also nominated for the 2022 MTV TV Awards “Here for the Hookup” prize, The Sex Lives of College Girls stars Pauline Chalamet (Timothée Chalamet’s sister, from The King of Staten Island), Amrit Kaur, amd Broadway stars Alyah Chanelle Scott and Reneé Rapp.
