The Real Housewives of Abuja episode 7 recap: "I feel like I'm in Nnewi"
Music reigns supreme in this episode of The Real Housewives of Abuja. It is all great vibes; even Princess Jecoco and Arafa squash their beef. Although it doesn’t start smoothly, their ego comes in the way of apologising until OJ Posharella breaks the ice.
“How can we resolve this?” she asks Princess, who is no longer interested in peacemaking. “I don’t really know what happened between you guys. So I can’t say who is wrong and who is not right, but I want you guys to please apologise.”

Princess feels she doesn’t owe anyone an apology while Arafa looks away like she isn’t ready to accept or give one. Princess eventually gives in to make everyone happy. She apologises and then hypes Arafa in Igbo. It is nice and sweet, but Arafa doesn’t buy it.
“You know you don’t mean it, so why are you trying to do it?” she asks.
Away from their drama, the vibe is excellent. Princess surprises the ladies with a colourful invite to her event. She invites Atilogu dancers and they come to the ladies with beautiful Igbo tunes. It was a sweet moment that made everyone smile; still, it was nothing compared to the main event.
Princess’s cultural event
Igbo amaka, and Princess’s event is a beautiful reminder. It’s a sumptuous display of everything beautiful and colourful about the Igbo culture. The dashing Nigerian actor Stan Nze is the MC for the day. The ladies are dressed in cultural outfits and look lovely, but no one will beat Princess Jecoco at her event. She enters with a show-stopping entrance and shows off her dancing skills like an actual Igbo princess.

Later, a masquerade entertains the ladies and they are treated to proper Igbo cuisine! Then Princess makes her second entrance, which is even more beautiful than the first.
“I transformed from a maiden to a thick, gorgeous Igbo woman,” she says in her confessional. You know what? Let’s leave events for Jecoco, she has elevated the standard.
Tutu and her men
As the ladies enjoy fresh palm wine, Abacha and all sorts of jolly Igbo food, Tutu worries about the lack of nice men to talk to and drink palmy with.
“But how is it that I am looking around and I can’t even find somebody that I can talk to,” she says in her confessional. “I like to go to events and meet nice men. No eye candy apart from the MC, but I can see him with a wedding band. Next.”
Everybody has what is doing them.
OJ’s listening party
OJ visits Tutu the next day to discuss plans for her music. (She had mentioned she planned to launch her career properly and that plan is now underway.) It has been 15 years since she adequately pursued music, and returning to it hasn’t been easy. She wants to launch properly so all that hard work doesn't go to waste, and Tutupie is the best at throwing lit parties in the capital city.

“It is gonna be like a listening party and I want to reach out to people in the industry. Who do you know?", she asks Tutu, who replies that she knows everyone.
Tutu isn’t entirely sold, though: OJ doesn’t have songs out yet. “This girl doesn’t have a song yet, but we are supposed to have an album listening party,” she comments. “Even if it is one song, this girl has nothing yet.”
The nude sip and paint
The next time the women gather together, they paint a half-naked hunk. “I don’t paint, I don’t draw, but they said this one is going to be a nude somebody. Why?” our resident Mummy GO asks.

Tutu is sha excited. As the model, a tall glass of chocolate, walks in, OJ starts smiling sheepishly. The women are super excited and quickly start drawing.
Creative Samantha
Samantha missed the sip and paint. She is busy with work, and we get to see her do her thing. She designs the pieces and gives the designs to her tailors to make them. “I have always been creative, I create every piece that I sell by myself,” Sammy tells us and it is easy to believe her work because her fashion game is always lit!
