The Real Housewives of Nairobi's fiery, fierce Reunion
Welcome to the explosive The Real Housewives of Nairobi reunion hosted by Fareed Khimani, where our favourite Housewives spill the tea on their tumultuous journey, serving up drama and unforgettable clap-backs. Brace yourself for a wild ride as we dive deep into the highs and lows of Season 1.
Dripping in glamour, the ladies make a fierce entrance, and the drama ignites right away as Minne snubs Lisa, setting the stage for a showdown. The tension escalates as Lisa and Minne engage in a battle of words, exchanging fiery comebacks over wigs and the validity of Minne’s customary marriage. And then Minne brings up the moment when Lisa told the rest of the ladies about her miscarriage. She feels Lisa was wrong to have shared her deeply personal story, but as Lisa attempts to apologise, her words get twisted in a whirlwind of drama.

Old feuds brought up
Minne, the queen of shade, fearlessly embraces her notorious reputation, declaring, “I grew up in the hood, and it’s about comebacks and clap-backs.”
Old feuds resurface, including Minne's alleged flirtation with Vera's husband. Susan confronts Minne about her involvement in a scandal with Michelle Ntalami, accusing her of having an affair with Michelle’s significant other. Minne dismisses the claims with a casual “girl, bye.”

Was it real or fake?
Vera suggests that Dr C and Lisa quickly became friends because “they’re both white”, triggering an outburst by Dr C. Vera fires back, accusing Dr C of calling her “ratchet” while begging for support to promote her wines.
Our fearless Dr C may have brought us comic relief throughout the season, but tonight she’s bringing fire - especially for Sonal, who she accuses of being a fake friend. Were any friendships on the show genuine, or were they just for the cameras?

Suspicions arise as questions surround Susan and Sonal’s seemingly unbreakable bond. The other ladies voice their doubts, suggesting it’s all a facade. Minne stirs the pot, unearthing an uncomfortable memory that forces Susan to apologise. The tension between these besties is palpable.
The highs and lows
A recap of the season's most emotional moments reminds viewers why the women allowed themselves to be vulnerable. Sonal, in particular, opens up about her struggles with mental health. She might feel that she was supported throughout the show, but not everyone feels that she deserved it. Dr C calls Sonal a pathological liar. Susan accuses her of being a backstabber. Minne even throws a roll of toilet paper at her! It’s not long before Sonal finds herself at the centre of a storm; everyone feels like they’ve been played by her.

Taking the end of their friendship to heart, Susan bursts into tears and rushes off the set.
“As I sit here today, I have no friend. I run solo,” says Sonal.
Business rivalries, salacious accusations, and Sonal's alleged betrayal take centre stage. Shade is thrown in every direction, sparing no one, from Vera's alleged skin bleaching to Minne and Susan's cyber feud.
Friendships are left shattered, but when asked if they would do it all over again, the majority of the glamorous squad doesn't hesitate: bring it!
Until next time, ladies.
