Wura episode 85 – 88 recap: "This paternity result is a lie!"
"So, where did you put it?" an agitated Tumininu asks her brother after he confirms that he took out the trash, which she had been ransacking to find a letter from Dimeji that she had discarded earlier. They are facing a difficult situation after the DNA test revealed that Dimeji is the father of Bisola's child.
Jeje had executed his plan flawlessly. He gained Dimeji's trust and successfully convinced him to let him cover the DNA test cost, then connived with the lab specialist to alter the result. Now he is going for Tumi. However, the love shared between Dimeji and Tumi is proving too strong. Even when Jeje suggests having lunch together, taking advantage of the friction between Dimeji and Tumi, she declines and instead seeks advice about Dimeji.
"So, this baby situation, do you think we can still have something even though he has a baby with a different woman?" she asks an uninterested Jeje.
"I mean, we have been through too much to let something like this come between us."

Meanwhile, tension is escalating within the Adeleke household. Wura has discovered that Kanyin and Fola are working together. She gathers her allies, Jeje and Detective Kolapo, to devise a plan to defeat her new enemies. The detective gives her a listening device to plant in Kanyin's room, allowing her to eavesdrop on Kanyin's plans. However, the plan takes an unexpected turn when Kanyin discovers the device and now knows that Wura is onto her.
Wura faces Kanyin and Fola
"An ex-convict and a schemer is a very bad combination, Aunty," Jeje cautions Wura, emphasizing the gravity of their current predicament. Her relaxed demeanor is unsettling him. Typically, when faced with enemies, Wura becomes calculating and starts scheming.
But her present state of relaxation is partly due to her respect for Fola and Kanyin. Unlike her usual adversaries, they possess intimate knowledge of her and reside under her roof. Fola, in particular, holds secrets that could potentially bring her downfall. So she is bidding her time. Also, she is not known to lose a fight. So, let's watch out!
Dimeji accepts Bisola's kid
One thing that's clear about Dimeji throughout the show is that he is upright. He consistently does right by people and stands for what's noble. After initially denying the DNA result for a few days, he eventually accepts its validity and confronts Bisola for keeping his child away from him.

"Why did it take you so long to tell me that we had a child?" he asks her, questioning why she's denied him and the child a chance to have a relationship.
The purpose of meeting with Bisola is to accept the child and be actively present in his life despite the strain it places on his relationship with Tumi.
The end of Tumi and Dimeji?
After perfectly executing Operation DNA and successfully turning Tumi against Dimeji, Jeje is now being extra nice and checking up on her.
"I was in the neighbourhood, so I thought I'd come around and see how you're doing," he tells her. Tumi says she's fine, but Jeje pushes further, asking,
"You know you can talk to me?"
She embraces him and begins to pour her heart out.
"My chest hurts. Why did this happen?" she rhetorically asks. "I was going to marry Dimeji."
Jeje provides her with comforting words she truly needs to hear, and Tumi continues to share. Suddenly, she leans in closer and kisses him. Without hesitation, Jeje reciprocates the gesture.
Could this mark the beginning of the end of Tumi and Dimeji?
