Flawsome episode 9 recap: “You’re cheating on me”
Ramat has several problems, but none is more troubling than her husband’s ex. In Flawsome episode 9, she and Uduak have an early morning conversation about Olumide; he explains nothing is happening between them. “I only reached out to her because I found out she is on the board of the Pond Foundation, and I did that for you,” he explains.

She accepts his explanation and initiates sex. He stops her, but she insists - and then he gets off irritatingly. Ramat is angry and brings back the Olumide discourse, then Uduak drops the bomb. “It is not my fault I can’t get it up for you,” he says before realising what he just told his wife.
Elsewhere, we see Dolapo and Uch are blossoming as a couple. He brings her food to ease work stress, but as they talk about her day, a message comes in; she has to go. He is slightly disappointed and offers to drive her, but she tells him her driver is waiting. He then proposes to walk her to the car. There is something about how he makes these requests and the disappointment on his face that follows when he realises she has most things covered.
Anyways, the message is from Ramat. She calls all her girls to inform them that Uduak is having an affair with Olumide, but her reasons are outlandish. “He bought me diamonds,” she says when Dolapo asks how she knows. The answer startles them. “He is trying to cover up his guilt by overcompensating and he took me for granted by assuming diamonds will cover it up,” she explains further.
But this doesn’t clarify anything, and honestly, when has gifting your wife diamonds become a bad thing? Then she drops the bomb. “My husband barely touches me,” Ramat says, her voice breaking. “And when he does, it is as if he is having sex with a prostitute. And then there is Olumide and her sudden reappearance and all their stupid secret meetings. It is not a coincidence.”
She continues to give scenarios that point to her husband cheating, much to the confusion of her friends, who suggest she should stop jumping to conclusions. However, Uduak’s lies have compounded and distorted her reality that this is the only choice. Then she starts packing to leave. Will she leave Uduak, or will they settle? Go watch Flawsome episode 9 to find out.
