Ntombee Ngcobo-Mzolo to host The Mommy Club S3 reunion

For the second consecutive year, TV presenter, actress and singer Ntombee Ngcobo-Mzolo will host The Mommy Club reunion, which will unpack all of Season 3’s drama in two parts, exclusively on Showmax, on 17 and 24 May.

The dramatic Season 3 finale ended on a tense and uncertain note. From spiritual attacks to fractured friendships, the tension has reached a boiling point, with the cast now clearly split into two opposing factions, and no resolution in sight.

On one side stand the OG Hermajesty, who has been part of the show since Season 1, Season 2 alum Mrs Sande, and newcomers Pheladi and Vuyi. On the other side are newcomers Mrs J, Noksie, and friend of the show Rosette.

“I’m thrilled to be back to help unpack all the drama that’s unfolded this season,” says Ntombee. “Season 3 has been nothing short of must-watch television, and I’m taking my role as host very seriously. I’m here to dig deep, ask the tough questions, and hold every mommy accountable for how they’ve contributed to the state of their relationships. I want to understand what they are going through because their fights seem like there is more than what meets the eye. I feel like the mommies have been going through a lot and I am here to listen.”

Ntombee also assures fans that she will remain neutral throughout the reunion. “Just like last time, I’ll be completely unbiased,” she says. “I’m here to represent the viewers and ensure they get the clarity they deserve on everything that’s happened this season.”

She further explains that her approach is grounded in promoting understanding and resolution. “As the reunion host, my goal is to create a space where the mommies can speak freely and work through their issues. Ideally, I’d love to see them find common ground and move forward as a group. That begins with getting to the root of their conflicts and truly acknowledging each other’s perspectives.”

She adds, “I want viewers to feel that all their burning questions have been answered; nothing should be left unsaid.”

The Mommy Club has evolved into a dynamic franchise with four distinct editions. Season 3 is the most-watched reality series of 2025 so far on Showmax, while its Pretoria-set spinoff,  The Mommy Club: Van Die Hoofstad, recently set a new Showmax record as the most-watched Afrikaans series since the African streamer’s relaunch last year. The Mommy Club: Sugar & Spice, set in Durban’s Indian community, is the second South African edition.

The Mommy Club: Tanzania marks the franchise’s expansion into East Africa and is currently streaming on Showmax. The Mommys include actress, musician, and entrepreneur Rose Ndauka; actress, businesswoman, and brand ambassador Marry Mtemi; award-winning actress and comedian Pili Kitimtim; multi-award-winning actress, humanitarian, and brand ambassador Riyama Ally; and actress, entrepreneur, and fashion industry mogul Mwanahamisi Mziray.
