The Real Housewives of Lagos episode 10: The ladies take Dubai
The Real Housewives of Lagos are ready to live their best lives in Dubai and we’re here for it.
Having arrived in the desert city for Toyin’s 40th (Fortyfied) birthday, the ladies are looking forward to spending seven nights in the sun and sand. They’re also determined to have a good time and are working overtime to avoid negative energy.
They’ve mostly done a good job of this, and between the struggle for the best room, and their safari trip, this week the ladies give us quite a few laughs.
Here are all the times our faves had us laughing out loud in The Real Housewives of Lagos episode 10.
1. Toyin’s diary sessions

Toyin’s diary sessions have always been a vibe, as she’s ever ready to switch to Yoruba if she really needs to get a point across. This week, however, she’s on a roll.
When Iyabo asks Carolyna which of the men gave Carolyna her bracelet, Toyin has us hollering when she covers her face and then goes on to mimic Carolyna’s high-pitched voice.
Also, Toyin is a whole trip when the ladies go camel riding and she says in Yoruba that the camel Carolyna and Chioma rode was screaming, “Carolyna has killed me with her bum”.
But she takes us out when her husband makes a surprise appearance - courtesy of Mariam. According to Toyin, she doesn’t realise the masked man is her husband at first, she thinks he’s one of the performers till it hits her, “oko mi ma boju boju”.
Hilarious.
2. Mariam tensions the ladies with her robe

Following the allocation of rooms at the villa, Mariam is unhappy with her room because it’s the smallest. But she’s also pissed because back in Nigeria, she won a game that entitled her to the biggest room. However, in the spirit of keeping things light-hearted, she’s moved on, but not without a lil mischief.
You see, host with the most Toyin had provided the ladies with robes that they wore for dinner. Mariam has however switched hers with one of Toyin’s personal robes and strolls out to the dinner table looking very much like an Emirati princess. She’s also acting the part as she holds her head up while dishing her food, and constantly adjusts the robe to pepper the ladies.
The ladies join in on the fun and tease her about her “10k per night room” but she responds by saying “this is what you get from the 10k per night room” while adjusting the robe even further.
Well played, ladies.

3. Party girls
The ladies head out to the desert safari and in proper The Real Housewives of Lagos style, they’ve got a party bus and Mariam has appointed herself the DJ.
As the Lagos big girl that she is, Carolyna decides to spray the ladies with some dollars while they dance. Iyabo has us hollering when she presents her booty to Carolyna to be sprayed. Chioma is also twerking up a storm as Carolyna continues to make it rain.
Oshe baddest!
4. Drive, baby, drive!

On arrival at the desert, the ladies head to the sand dunes and have us rolling on the floor while on the ride.
Mariam, Chioma and Carolyna share a ride and Mariam is clinging on for dear life. Not only is she clinging on, but she's also screaming the roof down going “Mummy, Mummy!” while Carolyna and Chioma have a good laugh at her expense.
Meanwhile, in the other car, Iyabo and Toyin aren’t faring much better, they’re also clinging on tightly while screaming and laughing.
Hard guy in the mud.
5. When the ladies went camel riding
Just when we thought we couldn’t laugh any harder, the ladies decide to go camel riding and they take us out completely. Between their shouts as the camel rises from a sitting position to Toyin’s hilarious diary session, the ladies had us screaming.
6. Desert queens
After the camel ride, the ladies go in to watch the performances, which include belly dancing and a fire act. Chioma is completely taken by the belly dancers and says she would like to learn the act for her man.
Issokay.
Meanwhile, Toyin continues to crack us up in her diary session stating that Carolyna is drooling over the guy performing the fire act.
Chioma is also on the receiving end of some teasing from aunty Iyabo who says Chioma is acting like an “ashewo” while she’s fangirling the performers.
While the ladies gave us plenty to laugh about, they also address some serious issues. All episodes of The Real Housewives of Lagos, including the two-part reunion, are now streaming on Showmax.
