4. Njoro Wa Uba, winner Best Original Comedy Series
Leaving the shores of Nigeria and crossing into Kenya, Njoro Wa Uba clinched the award for Best Original Comedy Series. The show follows Njoro on his journey and daily struggles as an educated cab driver.
5. Mpali, winner Best Original Telenovela
Beating out hot favourites like Itura and Covenant, Mpali went on to emerge as the Best Original Telenovela. The Zambian series revolves around a rich polygamist, Nguzu who has six wives. His home appears to be peaceful until he marries another woman named Tamara, his sixth and youngest wife.
