Charles makes a return

Katherine returns as an unexpected ally, meeting with Sinde in secret to warn her not to trust anyone, including Cyrus, and that Evangeline has been manipulating her from the beginning. She also warns her that the Gatehis have set her up to take the fall for her father’s fraud, and that the DCI is hot on her heels.

Charles in Second Family

Charles, the family patriarch returns to take things in hand - not only for the future of the company but for the future of his great grandchildren, especially now that Cyrus has strategically inserted himself into the family by becoming engaged to Gigi.

Fight over Bett’s custody

Stephen's investigation into Leo’s accident raises Charle’s suspicions, leading to his untimely death. Without Stephen’s protection, Sophie worries about her children's safety in Evangeline's house.

Bett in Second Family

Sinde decides to leave but Bett refuses to go home with her. He feels that Evangeline has given him more opportunities than he would have in Eldoret. Sophie and Evangeline clash over his custody, but ultimately, Evangeline wins. She has stolen Sophie’s son from her. She has also stolen the company from Sinde.

With the power back in her hands, Evangeline appoints Cyrus as acting CEO of East Africa Granary Company. Will Sinde get back control of her father’s company? Only time will tell as she navigates the treacherous waters of corporate - and family - politics in Second Family, only on Showmax.
