The Real Housewives of Durban Season 3: Slee and Nonku get physical
Remember how Nonku and Slee were friends at the beginning of the third season of The Real Housewives of Durban? They even had a heart to heart about Slee’s love life and their friendship seemed solid. Fast forward to a few months later, the ladies, who live in the same estate, can’t stand each other.
Things got physical between the two on the 12th and final episode of the hit Showmax Original reality show. It started after Nonku’s claims about Slee borrowing clothes and money from others was brought to the table once again. The cast members were having dinner while on a getaway in Knysna.

What’s the tea?
Mbali encouraged Nonku to apologise to Slee. However, Nonku wasn’t having any of it. “We were clearly never friends,” Slee said. Last week, Slee confronted Nonku about the same issue, but the conversation didn’t go far because Nonku didn’t want to address it. But on the latest episode, Nonku revealed that Slee had borrowed money and clothes from a friend and never returned them. She also allegedly took someone’s car and never returned it.
Nonku’s revelations stunned the ladies. In a confessional, Sorisha reacted: “It’s so much for me because I know of instances that Nonku owes money to people. I know about bills she hasn’t paid and I’ve never ever uttered anything about it.” She added that she’ll be bringing all of that tea to the reunion.

Slee has had enough
Meanwhile, Nonku is of the view that Slee is playing the victim. On the other hand, Slee’s feeling is that Nonku brought her to the show to tarnish her image. “I’m getting so upset because there’s so much that I can say to destroy her. So much. But I choose not to,” the mother of two shared on the show.
At this point, Slee had had enough. She got up from her chair and went straight to Nonku. A lot was said and hands were thrown. The physical altercation didn’t last long as security and the other ladies intervened.

Although she was upset in the moment, Slee later realised that she could have handled things differently. “After all is said and done, I wish I didn’t react the way I reacted. It’s out of my character and as much as Nonku was making me angry, I shouldn’t have gotten up and gotten to that point,” she said.
It looks like the reunion special is going to be one for the books. Follow the ladies’ ups and downs on The Real Housewives of Durban by binge-watching the whole season. Catch the reunion on 3 May 2023.
