The Real Housewives of Durban Season 3: Slee gushes over her new man
There’s nothing as exciting as new love! Just ask Slee, of The Real Housewives of Durban Season 3, who’s experiencing the thrill of being in a new relationship. The mother of two can’t stop smiling when she talks about the man in her life, and we must say we’re happy for her.
At the beginning of the season, Slee mentioned that she had left a six-year relationship and also spoke about the impact that that had on her. “When the breakup came, it was a shock for me. And then three months later he was married to someone else, which then in hindsight tells me that it was all a plot,” she told Nonku on the first episode of the current season.
New love
She’s now decided to give love another try. On the latest episode, Slee admitted that there’s a new person in her life. “I think the relationship is interestingly growing a little bit more serious than I thought,” she told her sister. “Yes, we really like each other. And that’s that,” she added.

She said her new man is not what she expected. “He’s not what I experienced with any person that I’ve been with. I think… You know that person who’ll teach you what being loved feels like? That kind of person. I think he sees me.”
While it’s still early days, Slee does think that she might be in love. She was also quick to remind her sister that she falls in love quickly. “And there’s nothing wrong with falling, really,” her sister said to her.
A breath of fresh air
Slee also wants to go deeper within this new relationship and allow things to flow. “I want to let my guard down,” she said. It seems like she still has reservations when it comes to relationship because she got burnt in the past. “I’ve been disappointed. I let my guard down for six years, but what happened? Disappointment.” Her last relationship ended on bad terms and she never wants to see her ex again.

It’s great to see that she’s now in a better space and that her new man seems to be a breath of fresh air. Although things are going well in her life life at the moment, Slee is yet to introduce her man to her children. “So, I do love what we have with each other as individuals, but I’m yet to see him around my kids because that’s the most important part of my life,” she said.
