Where to stream Bel-Air S4 online in Africa
Ready to return to the drama-filled world of Bel Air? Season 4 has just landed, and guess what? Showmax is the exclusive home for Bel-Air in Africa! Let's dive into what's new in this highly anticipated season.
For those who haven’t been keeping up (really, where have you been?), Bel-Air is a modern reimagining of the beloved 90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. But this isn’t your typical stroll down memory lane. Set in the modern-day glamour of Los Angeles, Bel-Air flips the script with a dramatic twist on the classic family show.

Season 3 of the dramatic reboot racked up a 100% critics’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes, as well as an Image Award for Marlon Wayans’ guest appearance. The series has already made waves, earning nominations for Outstanding Drama Series at the 2024 Black Reel and Image Awards. Jabari Banks, who brilliantly portrays Will, has been turning heads with his performance, snagging a Best Actor nomination at both events.
What’s happening in Bel-Air Season 4?
The fourth and final season of Bel-Air sees Will trying to balance the fun and excitement of senior year with the expectations that have brought him to this moment, while Carlton deals with the fallout of some very big decisions that could threaten his future.
What happens with the Banks family this season?

Will, Carlton and Lisa are going into their senior year in high school, which means they’ll have to make choices that will determine the adults they eventually become. Will and Carlton will help each other through this pivotal time in their lives.
An unexpected power shift will threaten the brotherhood between Phil and Geoffrey, whose loyalties to the Banks family will be tested. Viv struggles with reinventing herself as she looks at motherhood from a different perspective.
It’s Ashley’s freshman year in high school, and she’s working through a rebellious phase but quickly learns that the status quo may no longer serve her. Hilary goes on a journey of self-exploration.
The all-star cast
You can’t talk about Bel-Air without mentioning its stellar cast. Jabari Banks, Olly Sholotan, Coco Jones and Adrian Holmes all return in their Black Reel-nominated roles as Will, Carlton, Hilary and Uncle Phil, while this season’s guest stars include Emmy winners Snoop Dogg and Tyra Banks, who made her acting debut on the original The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in 1993.
The fourth and final season will welcome Janet Hubert, who played the original Aunt Viv in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and who will play a new character in the world of Bel-Air. Additionally, Caroline Chikezie will play Dominique Warren, the leader of Geoffrey’s (Jimmy Akingbola) former London gang. Fun fact: Adrian Holmes, who plays Bel-Air’s Uncle Phil, is London-born Chikezie’s real-life husband.
