Where to stream Bel Air S3 online in Africa
Ready to return to the drama-filled world of Bel-Air? Season 3 has just landed, and guess what? Showmax is the exclusive home for Bel-Air in Africa! Let's dive into what's new in this highly anticipated season.
For those who haven’t been keeping up (really, where have you been?), Bel-Air is a modern re-imagining of the beloved 90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. But this isn’t your typical stroll down memory lane. Set in the modern-day glamour of Los Angeles, Bel-Air flips the script with a dramatic twist on the classic family show. The series has already made waves, earning nominations for Outstanding Drama Series at the 2024 Black Reel and Image Awards. Jabari Banks, who brilliantly portrays Will, has been turning heads with his performance, snagging a Best Actor nomination at both events.
What’s happening in Bel-Air Season 3?

It’s summer in Bel-Air, and things are heating up - literally and figuratively. With school out, the crew is all set to enjoy the Los Angeles sunshine, but as always, they can’t seem to escape the challenges that come with being a Banks. Will is still grappling with his reunion with his estranged dad, while Carlton is working hard to overcome his addiction issues. It’s the kind of drama that keeps you glued to your screen, and the only place to catch it all is on Showmax.

Will and Carlton: Partners in crime (sort of)

Season 3 kicks off with an exciting twist—Will (Jabari Banks) making a bold pivot in his life, and, surprisingly, finding an ally in Carlton. Yes, you read that right. Carlton, played by the talented Nigerian-American actor Olly Sholotan, is back and desperate for a fresh start. It seems these two might finally be on the same team, but knowing Bel-Air, there’s bound to be some drama brewing.
The all-star cast

You can’t talk about Bel-Air without mentioning its stellar cast. Adrian Holmes returns in his Image Award-nominated role as Uncle Phil, alongside Cassandra Freeman as Aunt Viv. The rest of the Banks family is back too — Coco Jones as Hillary, Akira Akbar as Ashley, and Jimmy Akingbola as Geoffrey, the butler who’s always one step ahead.
And this season, get ready for more emotional moments with Marlon Wayans returning as Will’s complicated father, Lou, and April Parker Jones as his mom, Vy.
