BBNaija S9: The Buzz season finale delivers high drama
The final episode of BBNaija: The Buzz is now streaming on Showmax, capping off a season filled with drama, emotional farewells, and heated exchanges.
Hosted by Toke Makinwa, the finale featured BBNaija No Loose Guard winner Kellyrae and other finalists like Wanni, Onyeka, Victoria, Nelly, Ozee, Anita, and Sooj as well as BBNaija show’s host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
They reignited discussions about strategies, relationships, and twists that defined the season.
Ebuka weighs in: strategy or drama?
Viewers debated if Housemates focused more on strategy or stirring drama. Ebuka noted that many seemed to prioritise fame, leading to fewer intense moments. “People wanted the fights,” Toke said, “but it’s okay to have a show that’s not just about quarrels.”
“The money is married!”
Reflecting on his win, Kellyrae admitted that surviving each eviction made him stronger. While his strategic gameplay was key, Ebuka suggested his wife Kassia might have had an even bigger storyline.
Love, drama, and the “throuple” twist
The love triangle between Wanni, Shaun, and Hanni was a major focus. Wanni felt her sister’s departure was a “blessing in disguise,” while playfully dodging questions about her connection with Shaun, leaving the audience in stitches.
Onyeka’s unlikely rise
One of the season’s biggest surprises was Onyeka’s rise from the bottom to the top three. Her bold gameplay and alliances earned her admiration. “Winning is not always what you think it is,” she reflected.
Tabloid-worthy showdowns and heartfelt reflections
Victoria and Onyeka addressed their feud, though without resolution. Meanwhile, Ozee and Anita reflected on personal growth, with Ozee humorously calling himself the “diamond” of the season.
Thoughts and advice from Ebuka
Ebuka advised the finalists to be patient and focus on their strengths post-show. Onyeka, who had experienced significant growth, found this especially meaningful.
The winner’s final words
Kellyrae, visibly emotional, expressed gratitude for the audience’s support. As the finalists left the house, they faced the challenge of navigating fame and new opportunities.
