Empini episodes 45-46: Thank you for your service, comrade
This week on Empini, Ndoni faces the emotional aftermath of saving Amahle, the General’s power crumbles, and secrets continue to unravel. As the Bhodoza family drama intensifies, Ndoni’s relationship with Zenzele takes a complicated turn. Here’s everything that went down.
Ndoni saves Amahle

After last week’s cliffhanger ending, Ndoni manages to free herself and rescue Amahle just before MPS backup arrives. But killing Amahle’s father in front of her has left a mark, and Ndoni, haunted by her own past, warns Amahle’s mother, Duduzile, not to hide the truth from her daughter, fearing that Amahle will grow up with the same unanswered questions she had.
Winnie and Striker’s forbidden romance

Things between Winnie and Striker are still heating up, despite the fact that he’s crossing a serious line by sleeping with his boss. Winnie, however, seems to need more than just physical connection – after opening up to Striker about her insecurities, she’s leaning on him for emotional support. But how long can they keep this affair hidden before it starts causing problems?
Ndoni’s heroic return

When Ndoni returns to MPS after saving Amahle, she’s met with applause, but the celebration is short-lived. Zenze quickly reprimands her for going rogue and not asking for backup. The tension between them escalates, and in the heat of the moment, they fall into each other’s arms. But things take a messy turn when Jabulani walks in on their intimate moment. Awkward!
The General’s downfall

While Thobani continues strong-arming the witnesses in the General’s trial, threatening them to keep quiet, Dora delivers the crushing news to the General: he’s officially dismissed as director of the NIA.
Ndoni confides in Zenze

Ndoni opens up to Zenze about her suspicions regarding her father’s death. She tells him the full story, including her belief that Khaya might have been involved in Bonga’s murder, leaving Zenze with even more doubts about who his father really is.
Games and suspicions

Mkhonto is starting to notice something strange about his mother’s behaviour, and he’s convinced Winnie is hiding something. Meanwhile, Enoch and the General continue their power games, but with the General no longer at the helm of the NIA, he’s losing ground fast. Still, the General isn’t giving up easily—he’s plotting his next move.
Ndoni’s downward spiral

The conversation with Zenze opens old wounds for Ndoni. Consumed by her belief that Bonga didn’t kill himself, she spirals into a drunken state, pushing her mental health to the side. In a violent outburst, she warns Zenze that she never wants to see him again.
Will Ndoni be able to pull herself out of this emotional tailspin? How will the General’s downfall affect the balance of power? Stay tuned for more intense drama on Empini! New episodes drop every Thursday on Showmax!
